He holds a faculty appointment at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences, and leads an experiential learning and research program for graduate students in the Master of Public Health program..

Meet Dr. Vic

Hi, I’m Vic Tringali. I have dedicated over 30 years to the field of exercise science and health promotion through various roles, including as an entrepreneur, university administrator, college professor, and internationally recognized bodybuilder. My diverse career path has enabled me to positively impact the health and well-being of a variety of populations, including athletes, older adults, and individuals with physical disabilities. I have written numerous articles for peer-reviewed journals and trade publications, and I recently published my first book, Resisting the Decline: A Guide to Preserving Health and Vitality. I have also had the great fortune to lead research and serve as a keynote speaker for private organizations and many health, fitness, and wellness conferences across the United States.
